WSOP Bracelet Gets Celebrity Makeover
The World Series of Poker Main Event 2012 Bracelet has undergone a special makeover this year. This year’s bracelet was designed by Jason Arasheben, a Beverly Hills jewellery designer that has put together some amazing jewellery designs in his time.
The new bracelet features 35 carats of diamonds and 170g of 14 karat gold. It’s exceptionally bright and sparkly, and contains more diamonds and gold than the MLB World Series ring, and the NFL Super Bowl Ring.
Jason said “Every jeweler gets to design earrings and necklaces and bracelets, but this is the chance to do a piece that really means something. I wanated to pay tribute to Las Vegas, because I have a store here. They don’t have a professional basketball or football team, but what says Vegas more than the World Series of Poker?”
The bracelet has been designed to be “over the top”, just like the image of Las Vegas. There are 61 bracelets in total, with the Main Event bracelet containing a little more glitz than the other bracelets, but all of the bracelets follow the same key design, with the emphasis being on glamour and “richness”, just as is fitting for the richest and most prestigious tournamen on the global poker calendar.
