Will Failla is leading the World Poker Tour: Legends of Poker Main Event. Failla is one of the more colourful characters in the tournament poker scene – he is outspoken, superstitious, and always entertaining, and has enjoyed a lot of success in the poker world – earning more than $2.1 million over the course of his career. However, one thing that Failla has failed to do so far is win a major Main Event. That could all changeas he currently leads the World Poker Tour Legends of Poker Main Event.
Failla is already well on track for a record-breaking year in terms of personal earnings. He had a deep run in the World Poker Tour championship and five World Series of Poker cashes. If he can finish in Third Place in this tournament, he will beat his previous best earnings for one year. He certainly looks to be on track for a strong finish, but some pundits worry that his lack of final table experience may be his undoing.
Play will resume tomorrow at 7PM Eastern Time, with the blinds at 50,000/100,000. Failla currently holds 6.7 million in chips, a strong lead over Joshua Pollack, who sits in second place with 5.3 million.
