Poker Themed Amazing Race Episode

This weekend saw the season finale of Amazing Race Cycle 15.  Two eliminated contestants – Maria Ho and Tiffany Michelle appeared on the show, which saw the contestants compete in a series of poker themed challenges.

The final three Amazing Race teams left Prague to head to Las Vegas, where they completed tasks at the Mandalay Bay and Mirage Resorts, before heading to the Monte Carlo casino.

The first task the teams had to do was stack $1 million in poker chips from a table containing thousands of chips of different denominations. Meghan and Cheyne were the first team to complete the task and receive their clue, which sent them to the MGM Grand High Roller Suite, where they would be met by Mr. Las Vegas – Wayne Newton.

Once they arrived at the suite, they were told that the finish line was at Newton’s ranch – the Casa de Shenandoah.

At the finish line, Meghan and Cheyne were met by Tiffany Michelle and Maria Ho – who have both been runners up in past World Series of Poker Main Events.

So far there have been no poker pros spotted in Cycle 16 of Amazing Race, but I doubt that poker stars will be disappearing from our screens entirely.
