While most people make new year’s resolutions relating to diet or health, Daniel Negreanu has made a list of eight specific poker related goals that he wants to achieve this year. The goals sound incredibly impressive, but should be achievable for a poker player of Negreanu’s calibre. You can find the full list of goals on his blog.
Negreanu’s first goal is to win $1 million in 2010. He managed this last year, so it’s highly likely he’ll be able to repeat the feat this year.
His second goal is to retain his position at the top of the all-time money leaderboard. He almost lost the spot to Phil Ivey last year, but if he manages to achieve his first goal it’s likely his spot will be secure for another year.
Negreanu wants to move up the all-time WSOP money earners’ list. He’s currently in 28th place, and is aiming to take the 25th position by the eand of the year.
He’s also shooting for bracelets and cash finishes to round out his achievement list. Right now, he’s competing in the Main Event of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in the Bahamas, which should help himwith goals number one and two!
