Day 3 of the World Poker Tour: LA Poker Classic has concluded. The day ended with Jason DeWitt holding the chip leader position. The money bubble popped on Day 3 as the group fell to sixty-three players remaining. The top prize in the LA Poker classic is $1.6 million, but all of the remaining players are going to walk away from the table with some form of cash prize. The prize for the LA Poker Classic marks the first seven-figure grand prize of Season IX .
Hoyt Corkins holds the dubious honour of being the bubble boy, busting out in 64th place and leaving with no prize money.
The current standings, going in to Day 4, are:

3. James “croll103” Carroll – 843,000
4. David Baker – 702,000
5. Mike Sowers – 677,000
6. Shannon Shorr – 655,000
7. Matt Berkey – 625,000
8. Darryll Fish – 595,000
9. Nikolay Evdakov – 583,000
10. Carlos Mortensen – 557,000
