Final Table of WSOP Europe on ESPN2

The final table of the World Series of poker Europe is set to air on ESPN 2 on February 28th at 9:00PM EST. The final table featured some of the world’s best poker players, with ten wsop bracelets at the table, all looking to add a Main Event bracelet win to their tally of poker successes.

The event was held at The Casino at the Empire in London’s Leicester Square. Therre were 334 hopefuls signed up for the event, and the final table was eventually whittled down to feature some of the best names in the game.

The final table starting chip counts were:

Jason Mercier – 3,198,000
James Akenhead – 1,398,00
Praz Bansi – 1,160,000
Barry Shulman – 1,090,000
Markus Ristola – 784,000
Antoine Saout – 701,000
Matt Hawrilenko – 674,000
Chris Bjorin – 518,000
Daniel Negreanu – 438,000

ESPN2′s show will feature the start of the table and cover the first five eliminations, while the second part of the show will show the final four players battling for the title. in what turned out the be an exciting four-way, and an even more exciting conclusion for the World Series of Poker Europe’s Main Event.
