Everleaf Leaves US Market

American online poker fans have received yet another blow this week, as the Everleaf gaming network has decided to pull out of the US market. The decision came after the site allegedly receved a cease and desist order from the US department of Homeland Security.
US players that have funds at the Everleaf poker network don’t need to worry too much, as their funds have been protected, and they will be reimbursed, but no new players may open an account or take part in games on the network at this time.
There are only a handful of poker rooms remaining that are US player friendly, but hopefully it won’t be long before things pick up for American poker fans. New legislation is currently being debated that would open up the American market and allow at least state-level gaming. For the mean time, though, US players are advised to take care and do their research before joining new sites.
