World Poker Tour Comes Down Under

In what is an Australian first, Crown Poker will be holding the first ever officially endorsed WPT event down under. The Crown WPT Week is set to run from 15 to 23 September and will feature nine tournaments all giving players the chance to win one of the three guaranteed $16,000 packages to compete in any WPT Season VI event.

The week will begin at 12.30pm on Saturday 15 September with a FREE to enter WPT Mega Satellite. The tournament will feature $25 rebuys and the winner will receive a $16,000 WPT package. The runner’s up will receive seats in a $340 WPT Satellite to be held at 4.10pm on Sunday 23 September.

An additional seven tournaments will be held at 5.10pm each day from Sunday 16 to Saturday 22 September. Costing $40 to enter (no rebuys) these Turbo tournaments will have a limited time to act and winner’s will receive a seat in the $340 WPT Satellite on the Sunday.

During the nine days, the room will come alive with WPT theming, WPT episodes from Seasons two, three, four and five airing on the big screen as well as WPT merchandise giveaways at selected times during the week for tournament entrants!
