Default How To Post Screenshots

1. Take the screen capture

screen capture by clicking Alt+Print Screen keys.


2. Paste the image in to image software

Open MSPaint or Photoshop or some other image software and paste it in by using Ctrl+V

3. Save the file

Save the file to your desktop as a .gif

4.Host the file at imageshack or photobucket or some other free image server

try www.photobucket.com or www.imageshack.us and follow the directions to upload your image

5. Get the IMG direct link from your host

The IMG direct link is the one you need

6. Copy and paste the link in your post

Just as it says - copy the link address and paste

Thank you for letting me know, it has been quite the task to find that information, but now i can start saving those big tournaments that i win!

you can also save it as a JPEG, (which I prefer), but whatever you do, make sure you change it from the default saving format of .bmp (bitmap).

It takes up wayyyyyy too much space, and it will take forever to load on the forum. Make sure to watch for that!

Also you don't have any good image programm like PS or any else you can just create new bitmap file on your XP screen and ctrl+v there and also can be exported as .gif .jpg .bmp

Thank you for the headsup. The only way I knew how to post images is if the site had an upload tool already attached. ahh learn something brand new every day

Also remember to reduce the size of the picture prior to posting it on the forum as some of the screenshots seem to be overly large
